Photographer’s Bio

Gail Maloney is a native of Hollis, N.H. and studied at The New Hampshire Vocational Technical College, The Arts and Science Center, and The New England Institute of Professional Photography. She has taught photography at Rivier College in Nashua, and has taught digital media at The New England Institute of Art’s Center for Professional Development in Boston. She also teaches digital photography privately, working from her Hollis studio.

A past member of the Professional Photographers of America, New England and New Hampshire, her unique imagery has won numerous awards for excellence and creativity in professional imaging. Her editorial work includes freelancing for The Nashua Telegraph, The Milford Cabinet Press and several stock agencies in the United States, and her advertising work has appeared in Monadnock Living Magazine. Her commercial clients include The State of New Hampshire, Ciardelli Fuel Company, Landesign, Nashua Eye Associates, The Tamposi Companies, New England Forest Products, Georgio’s Restaurants and one hundred other companies in New England.

Info about Gail and her photography has appeared in the New England media including the Boston Globe, New Hampshire Magazine, over WBZ Radio, and across the nation via the Associated Press. Her book, The Art and Soul of the Souhegan Valley, has sold worldwide through Barnes and Noble Booksellers and Amazon.com. Her stock photography has appeared internationally.

Gail’s studio/photography was named the Best of the Souhegan Region, in both 2009 and 2010, in the Reader’s Choice Competition, sponsored by The Souhegan Valley and Merrimack Chambers of Commerce, and The Cabinet Press.

Gail and her family reside in Hollis, NH on property that has been a part of her family’s history since 1947.
